I had a decent stay at The Highland House. The location is truly fantastic—central and easy for exploring Amsterdam. However, the room left a lot to be desired, especially considering the price I paid. There were issues with privacy and noise, and the shower situation was definitely not ideal.

The room I stayed in was called the Garage, which was reasonably clean but had no doors on the shower room. This made it difficult to have a private shower without disturbing my partner. The decor was unique, and the shower itself was spacious, but I felt the lack of proper privacy was a significant downside.
